KiDs Fundamentals Class
Trying to think of a fun way to introduce fitness and the foundation of sports into your child’s life? Then, this new and innovative class is the perfect way to launch exercise enthusiasm into a young person’s life. We will cover the basis of youth fitness while, of course, making it entertaining and enjoyable. The class will review the basic mechanics of running, and introduce the safety components of a fitness center by trained personnel. Our coaches, Collis, Caleb, and Joe, all Certified Sports Performance Coaches through the USAW plan to introduce the many different components of strength training while training and improving the child’s fitness level. In addition to the Sports Performance Coach certification through the USAW, these young athletes will also be under the guidance of a Certified Speed Specialist through the National Association of Speed and Explosion (NASE), a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and several other certifications shared between our coaches that can be found on our website. With the several different training apparatuses on site, we will be able to teach proper form and technique, and implement very important behavior patterns to help these young athletes prevent injuries! Most of all, everyone will have have fun doing it. The KiDs Fundamentals Class will run 1x per week for 45 minutes on Wednesdays at 4:15P for children between the ages of 5-7 and will begin 9/12!
